This dreamy Northern Rivers wedding had everything—soft pastel florals, joyful calm in the morning, and the kind of real, unexpected moments that make a wedding truly memorable. The couple chose to get ready separately, giving me the chance to capture both sides of the story as the day began. Their ceremony was moved indoors to the Bangalow Showgrounds due to rain, but it turned out beautifully—with heartfelt vows, meaningful prayer, and a warm, personal atmosphere.
Shot on both digital and 35mm film, the day was full of candids, colour, and connection. After braving some drizzly weather for portraits, the party continued at the Lismore Workers Club—until a fire alarm (yep, really!) had us all outside. We made the most of it with a few hilarious shots (including a fire truck!), then snuck in some intimate portraits in a laneway and lift before heading back in to kick off the dance floor.
This one had all the heart, humour, and gorgeous details that make Northern Rivers weddings so special.
