Tom and Sharni's summer wedding was the most beautiful day! They had an outdoor ceremony at Ballina Jockey Club followed by beach portraits with their wedding party, and a gorgeous outdoor reception dinner all shot on digital and 35mm film.
One thing that they really wanted to incorporate into day was their strong faith, and there was some beautiful sentiments included throughout the day.
On the day Tom and Sharni got ready separately and chose to have me document just the girls getting ready. I just loved Sharni's long veil! Sharni also wanted to have a special moment with her Dad so we did a "first look" with just Sharni and her Dad. It was such a beautiful addition!
When it was time for their ceremony, the clouds were rolling in and it looked like it was going to rain but luckily it passed. But something pretty magical happened.. when the prayers were being said, a huge gust of wind came and it was just beautiful.
After the ceremony, they did the signing and some family portraits before heading to the beach with their wedding party.
Tom and Sharni chose a picturesque local beach for their wedding party photos. We took a bottle of champagne down and it was so much fun!
We also took some more photos back at the Jockey Club before heading back for the reception.
